This Privacy Policy explains how NameTowne (“NameTowne,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase or use our services, communicate with support, or otherwise interact with us.

This policy applies to our domain registration, web hosting, business and offshore hosting, Windows VPS, cloud, VPN, security, billing, client-area and support services. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that publish their own privacy policies.

Information you provide

  • Account and identity information: name, company name, username, billing address, country and contact details.
  • Contact information: email address, telephone number and communication preferences.
  • Order and billing information: products ordered, invoices, transaction references, payment method and payment status. Full card details are normally processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored by NameTowne.
  • Domain-registration information: registrant, administrative and technical contact details required by registries, registrars and applicable domain rules.
  • Support information: ticket messages, chat content, attachments, call notes and troubleshooting information you choose to provide.
  • Service content: configuration details and data required to provision or manage your hosting, VPS, cloud or related service.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website or services, we may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, login and security events, pages viewed, cookie identifiers, bandwidth or resource usage, and diagnostic logs.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from payment providers, domain registrars and registries, fraud-prevention services, identity or security providers, social-login providers, resellers and other partners involved in delivering a service you request.

Essential cookies are required for the website and client area to function. Where required, analytics or marketing cookies are used only with your consent. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal, tax, accounting, registry and compliance obligations. Our customers, infrastructure and service providers may be located in different countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use contractual, organizational or other lawful safeguards intended to protect transferred information.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and people legally able to enter into a contract. They are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
